My story

I’m Andrea, owner and founder, of Perpetual Flora. With the help of my husband, Tyler, and family, we started this flower preservation service out of our home. We reside in Ottawa, OH, along with our dog, Brooks.

Perpetual Flora is currently a part-time “job” for me; it’s essentially my hobby, and I love it. I have a full-time job in marketing, which I also really enjoy, during the weekdays.

How it started

PF’s journey started when we got married in April 2023. I had been looking into having my bridal bouquet pressed and preserved and couldn’t find anyone in our area who did it. So, I started tossing around the idea of trying to press and preserve my bridal bouquet at home. I have always been told that I have a little bit of an artistic gift or eye, a trait I know I received from my mom. After our wedding, I went ahead and pressed and framed my flowers, and they turned out well. That’s when the light bulb went off – that flower preservation by way of pressing is a needed service in Northwest Ohio.
