My story
I’m Andrea, owner and founder, of Perpetual Flora. With the help of my husband, Tyler, and our family, we started this flower preservation service out of our home.
Perpetual Flora began as a part-time evening and weekend hobby while I worked full-time in marketing before having our son. It’s now flourished into my full-time “job” and has since grown beyond our home into a dedicated studio space in downtown Ottawa, OH.
It’s an honor to preserve your meaningful blooms. With the help of God, we hope Perpetual Flora will be here to serve the Northwest Ohio community for generations to come.
How it started
PF’s journey started when we got married in April 2023. I had been looking into having my bridal bouquet pressed and preserved and couldn’t find anyone in our area who did it. So, I started tossing around the idea of trying to press and preserve my bridal bouquet at home. I have always been told that I have a little bit of an artistic gift or eye, a trait I know I received from my mom. After our wedding, I went ahead and pressed and framed my flowers, and they turned out well. That’s when the light bulb went off – that flower preservation by way of pressing is a needed service in Northwest Ohio.
